Tech thrash from Russia and it’s easily one of the better tech thrash albums out there since I don’t know many but this album is basically one of the only ones I heat positive stuff for. While I do not claim to know of the environment in Russia as it pertains to thrash in the 1990s, Aspid's sole album represents what can be argued to be the peak of technical thrash metal: with the sole exception of 'Intro', a relatively peaceful synth piece, the album is otherwise seven straight kick-ass breakneck tracks that blend virtuosity and technicality without ever descending into wankery or complexity for its own sake.
