"all I really want is something beautiful to say" MAN. I love grunge. Another reveiw said this band is literally heavier nirvana and. yeah. and i fucking love nirvana. so. yeah I love this. I don't really have any issues with it. it all slaps, it's a vibe, I hear influences from a bunch of bands I absolutely adore. Production wise it's not like anything shiny or over polished. it's rough around the edges, but yk what fuck it thats ok. its rough around the edges but ... read more
THE POST-GRUNGE CHALLENGE - #008
Time for some more Seether baby. I'm really not a big fan of Seether, but I also don't hate them at all. They have like 5 songs that I love and are in my constant rotation, maybe even like 6. I've heard Disclaimer which at best was pretty good, but it had great highlights, just too much filler and Karma and Effect, which was a little bit weaker but still had 2 great tracks on it. In my review of Poppy’s Empty Hands, I said how she combined elements of many bands I ... read more
Seether always had been the better out of the popular post grunge bands. This album is much better then I thought it would be, Its seethers last albums with its classic post grunge sound before it changes its sound with alternative metal influence. I always thought of seether songs as fun and sometimes stupid. I appreciate that this albums keeps some of the dirty noise and its not to over produced like many post grunge albums after 2010. Overall the albums is not bad and another fun classic ... read more
