Overkill is one of those bands that, after so many years, continues to deliver quality. 0 progressive, 0 avant-garde: 100% thrash.
Their second best. Deserves some credit for sure. Competent modern day thrash metal with strong rhythm sections, leads with a sharp blistering energy, and a good arrangement and consistency . Great melodies, and Blitz, well, his vocals aren’t so bad here.
Their ability to stay so consistent is beyond understanding for me. They are spewing a good album after another good one in such a short time. Even though I think this album is better than most of the stuff they made in the 90s, it is by far their weakest since their modern resurgence.
