I wish this album was as good as the cover... very cute.
Really not feeling this album, I mean this is basically background music. It was somewhat mediocre up until "Trying" where I feel it took a huge nose dive into a more mellow and uninteresting sound which is maintained for the rest of the album. Most of the good songs are the singles that were released beforehand. I can't see myself ever listening to this again.

Re writing a review I had for this cause I thought it was cringey.
Sleepyhead is a very chill listen and is honestly a guilty pleasure of mine tbh. I adore the bedroom aesthetic this album has and the songwriting is honestly pretty potent for something in this style. how are u gonna release nearly half of this album as singles and have the first non-single on this album be a reprise of one of the singles? upsetting
The fun pop melodies I've come to expect from cavetown are nearly 100% absent from this record. instead most of this album spends its time tiredly crooning over boring acoustic guitars. It's like Robbie forgot how to make anything other than background music. Really not feeling this one
