Holy Ghost! may not be a game changer, but it’s not redundant in an electro-pop scene increasingly dominated by progressive disco.
The big stumbling blocks are redundancy and an overextension of a few good ideas.
Holy Ghost! will need to dig a little deeper into their souls and diversify their influences to make more of a mark in the long run.
The duo seem too intimidated by their own influences, and pay them too much respect, to really meet their potential.
So the vocals are nothing special, and the tracklist might feel a bit redundant, but the synths just make me so wet what do you expect
I don’t love it as much as when I first heard it 2 years ago but it’s still a very good listen. Sometimes I don’t enjoy the vocals all that much but the hooks and grooves are really amazing. A good album to get into synthpop.
This debut from American synth-pop duo Holy Ghost! has some strong, catchy production and memorable tunes

The first synth pop album I ever listened to years ago and it's now one of my favorite albums of all time!
