C’mon is an intriguing, essential addition to their discography, one which might even propel the Minnesotans towards much wider renown.
C’mon is probably the most immediately welcoming of their career, their warmest and most open-hearted.
Low have turned in their most confident, consistent record to date, and even, in places, sound like they're actually enjoying themselves.
C'mon feels more like a collection drawn from throughout the last decade than a completely cohesive album.
Probably Low’s least experimental album after their most experimental yet, and yet it’s one of their best. Here they still stick to slowcore with the brighter sound to the vocals and production that they had developed since Secret Name, but it’s kinda more standard indie rock in a way? It kinda misses the somber quality of a lot of slowcore, and of course the slowness. It’s kinda like how a few of the songs off of Duster’s Stratosphere are more just slowcore tinged ... read more
Honestly Might Be One Of Their Best...
Low is a band I've been slowly, but surely getting more into as the years go along, and up to this point have loved everything I've heard from them, and just love the overall chemistry and passion both Alan Sparhawk, and Mimi Parker (R.I.P) have put into each of these projects.
And, their 2011 album known as "C'mon" is another reason why I absolutely adore this band. Of course the sound is a bit different here, keeping the same ... read more
Low take on a brighter sound at times on C'mon, making for one of their most standout and magical releases in their ever-consistent discography. At times the album even takes on a bit of a singer songwriter approach, especially in the first half of the album on tracks like Witches. Much of this album may seem conventional by Low standards but is one of the best results the formula has given us. Love these guys. Magical peaceful expierence.
NOW THIS IS WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!!!
This was an amazing album start to finish, all of the songs were consistent and excellently combining elements of their 90’s work and their more recent (at the time) albums like Things We Lost in the Fire.
An excellent example of this is $20, which starts off rather quiet but builds into a wonderful ending. And don’t get me started on Nothing But Heart, it’s nearly perfect, just go listen to it and you’ll see what I ... read more

Como es posible mas de 200 personas piensen que este album es mas que un 70. No digo que estén mal, osea si, pero no tiene nada de malo tener esa opinión, simplemente no la comparto
How is it possible that more than 200 people think this album is better than a 70? I'm not saying they're wrong, I mean, maybe they are, but there's nothing wrong with having that opinion, I just don't share it.
Extraordinarily enjoyable with fun fun fun tracks. It's the kind of album that plays at its own pace and transitions flawlessly into different moods. A MUST from me.
