It was fine for the most part, but it got very creatively bankrupt and stale QUICK, the horne aren't very interesting at all until track 10 onwards, and every song almost sounds pretty much the same, very predictable
Sharks onwards tho, it got super cool and interesting and like actually fun to listen to, Free Love is fucking awesome and such a sore thumb in the tracklist with just how much it doesn't stand up to the rest

Third album for the american trio which finds them testing the limits of their artistic formula, attempting a back and forth, defensive technique that seems to work.
This upbeat jazz rock of theirs makes you feel like you're on the cover: comfortably sitting by a bonfire. I'd say that, despite the clear vibe switch around the seventh song, this record is quite solid, although the standout sax (the most interesting feature on the album's sonority btw) starts to make you feel a bit sore as the tracks go by, so you end up getting up and leaving the bonfire. This ain't a Dark Souls reference.
