While it may not be as stellar as their future releases would be, Morphine's debut album, 1992's Good, did a splendid job of introducing the Boston trio's highly original sound.

A very consistent debut album and a very unique one as well with a unique choice of instrumentation. I love the minimalist nature of this band and the use of bass guitar and saxophone. Its both an alternative album and an album with blues and jazz influence as well. Great debut album.

Lyric samples: "I'm just a test tube baby", "my biggest fear is if I let you go, you'll come and get me in ... read more
