(Analbumaday Day 131)
Consistently cozy, just sounds like a warm, relaxing countryside scene. Very nice, not very memorable or exciting, but certainly enjoyable.
Somber, nostalgic, and warm, Rikki is soaking with influences from city pop, psych rock, and even funk. It's an easy listen, and perfect for a quiet summer night of doing nothing.
It's a fantastic album, I would say. I love the big root's unique and chill style. This album is jazzy and soulful, but also sometimes psychedelic and pushing vaporwave, even, which I think is really cool.
