Jojo’s debut album was released on June 22, 2004. Its a mix of contemporary R&B and Jojo’s pop sounds that her fans have grown to love.
The song is full of pop songs that go the distance. Each song has delicate writing and Jojo’s phenomenal vocals but that’s where the positives of the album really end.

Damn, JoJo really had no business singing like THAT at age... 13??? How? How?? It's so good. Anyway, this album feels super derivative of 90s R&B, but "Leave (Get Out)" still slaps. The vocals and vocal riffs & runs are really the highlight in this project for me. I could take or leave the songwriting, and she only wrote three of the tracks anyway. But mega-impressive to do this at age 13!!
Primeiro álbum de estúdio de JoJo que trouxe a jovem cantora de 14 anos ao estrelato e o reconhecimento, desde jovem ela tem uma ótima voz, aqui a voz dela está bem imatura e jovial, deve-se ao fato dela ter 14 anos na época.
Sonoramente eu achei fraco, para mim a parte da produção poderia ser mais ousada, é um álbum mediano.
Ouvirei a versão dele de 2018 e comparar com essa.
