I think musically it was slightly more metal than Indwell, tho the vocals were a bit more tame here. Can't really say which one I liked better
This record is stunningly brutal. Coming off the oppressive nature of Fister and Wormphlem and the abrasiveness of Pig Heart Transplant, this record really hit the spot. The vocal delivery is so varied and the high pitched sections are especially good and the barrages of guitar and drums are deafening. Really enjoyed this record and the feeling it brought with it. Top track for me is Priest of Piss.
I think this actually stands out from Indwell a good amount. The production is much less noise influenced, for one. It sticks to a more pure form of deathcore, with no cleans. I love Indwell, but this has its own place in the sun.
