Though the music of Parallel World is powerful, the message is infinitely more so.
This is my first time listening to one of his records despite him producing content for a while, and on the Canadian rapper’s five album, “Parallel World”, Cadence Weapon proves those years haven’t gone to waste, sounding tight and well studied even if the album isn’t exactly jaw dropping.

Okay, where to start with this guy?
The odd thing with Cadence Weapon is that when he broke through in 2006, trying to force an marriage between wordy but clever underground flows and glitchy electro-pop and house, even if I wasn’t really a fan of the messy fusion it was a cool experiment.
