What better way to promote Sparks' spinning blender of demented pop than Propaganda? The band's fourth album (and second with producer Muff Winwood) is chock-full of great ideas, including the overseas hits "Something for the Girl With Everything" and "Never Turn Your Back on Mother Earth."

A succesful follow-up to "Kimono My House", as they continue on in a very similar style of dense writing and stupendous amount of catchy melodies. They do turn the camp dial up a notch, making "Propaganda" a more irritating listen, if one isn't in a certain mood for it. "At Home At Work At Play" is amongst their very best songs ever though.

Underrated? Yes. Rousing, vibrant, fun music in the Pop vein? Yes. AM Radio play? Yes. Live, was it worth it? Yes. Except, I could never settle my conscience when Ron Mael stomped around in his Nazi-like regalia. The irony of it all, I suppose helped justify the foolishness. Favorite track: Never Turn Your Back On Mother Earth. Favorite cover of your favorite track: Martin Gore "Counterfeit" '89. Word. - daFigz™

Propaganda is a very fun and quirky album. I had never heard of the band but I really enjoyed it. Their style is very unique and reminds me of this band "The Happy Fits" but 5 decades earlier. These tracks have unique Ideas I love Something for the girl with everything a lot. It really feels like they could right a song about anything and it would be interesting.

Very catchy, very eccentric. The word for this one is "flamboyant".

Favorite song is "At Home At Work At Play"
Least favorite song is "Achoo"
