Presenting raw emotion and over-the-top braggadocio with such exacting balance is part of IDK's talent, and he delivers on USEE4YOURSELF like never before.
The strictly independent star proves that producer-rapper hybrids are still a force to be reckoned with in the rap game. Following on from his eclectic debut, ‘USEE4YOURSELF’ finally etches IDK’s place in rap.
An amalgamation of styles that recalls the frenetic creativity of 00s Kanye, the record finds strength in personal revelation, with IDK often at his most individual when surrounded by his peers.
The album is undeniably more cohesive, with each track flowing so naturally into the next that you might hardly notice when you’re suddenly a third of the way through the LP, it’s so adept at getting you to kick back with your thoughts, letting the silky, layered beats carry you along.
It seems like it’s the kind of album you’re going to have a good time with but that isn’t going to change your life, as whilst it’s difficult to pick a huge fault with, it also remains somewhat lacking.
The hooks might be the greatest sin on USEE4YOURSELF, as IDK repeatedly includes cringe-inducing, half-baked choruses which add nothing to the album and actively sabotage the project.
You have to trudge through a lot of middling pop rap to reach USEE4YOURSELF's pockets of emotional potency.
IDK's mum had one thing to do to keep him happy. Give him his fucking lunchables. She failed at that and now this dude doesn't know how to treat women.

IDK's new album is good but inconsistent
The standout tracks are really good but there is some serious filler here
Another thing is the sequencing of the songs because we go from a very mediocre song about nothing in "Keto" to the more deep tracks like "Hey Auntie" where he talks about being molested. I don't understand how these songs are on the same album especially so close to each other in the tracklist
The triplet of tracks "PradadaBang", "Shoot My ... read more
Solid to okay record as always
But it's really also one of his more forgettable ones somehow.
He's already falling off 3 albums in.
