This isn't the popular pop music, I'd call it maybe intellectual pop or "intellectuapop" if I was into coining weird genre phrases.
The record sounds tired, dreamy, and wasted in the daylight at five in the afternoon– it tries to be breezy, but instead still feels like 99 degrees of heat.
Do Things is a pleasant enough experience while it plays, but it’s quite forgettable overall.
