EDIT: Umbra actually holds up pretty good. The production sounds fine to me now.
This album has a lot of issues, despite being pretty good. 'Umbra' has two sounds that it plays with and neither of them are super well executed. The first is them taking the sound of their last record, but not evolving it much at all. This is another cool LP. Close to be very good although I think they could add new stuff to their sound (which they did after on The Hart with a better songwriting for me despite being a bit catchy/classic pop rock at some moment)
