This is some perfectly acceptable pop punk. Nothing amazing, but I enjoyed it. I'm glad they went pop, because the melodies are the best part of this record.

Despite being bogged down by overly simplistic and repetitive melodies, "Adornment" is an anthemic, quality pop-punk album. The best moments here come from either the band turning up the heat or lead singer Collin Walsh leaving his heart on the track. I'm talking "Fever Dream," "Forever Yours," and the basically perfect "Atlantic."
