I was only previously aware of Australia group RÜFÜS DU SOL from a couple one-off singles I had heard, but now I was jumping into them on their fourth studio release Surrender and I have to say I found their euphoric and anthemic take on house to be right up my alley. Although at first a lot of these songs blurred together with their similar progressions/structures and very general lyrical about the power of love, the joy it can bring and other words of inspiration, but the more I ... read more

Cohesive lyrical euphoric-house from Australian artist Rufus du Soul. Next to Me and Alive are also anthemic with Alive having these cutting darker synths after the chorus. Rest of album isn’t offensive but ... read more

An emotionally charged, melodic house/edm album about love that show RÜFÜS DU SOL at the top of their game. Thanks to the already crystal clean production quality, the beats are superb and the vocals are mesmerizing. Most songs will make you feel like your transcending at one point or another, and it all blends together perfectly for a satisfying conclusion.

Highlights: Next to Me, See You Again, Alive, Devotion
