Reckoner is a decent record with a healthy balance of post-hardcore and metalcore that forms a rough, slow-burning musical style for the band. The guitar work is particularly intriguing as its familiar, yet varied passages stand out heavily amongst a limited songwriting style for the album. The last point takes away the impact from much of the second half of the record.
