AllMusic
Tacked at the end is the always necessary "Opus" in all its glory, and while the Four Tet remix would have been nice to have (along with the recent Chvrches collaboration "Tether"), Opus, the album, is keenly constructed and an excellent beginning-to-end journey in spite of its size.

It would have been easy for Eric to serve up a ‘Best Of’-style album, but we’re glad he went down the Deadmau5 route of not including any of his greatest hits. It proves he’s a similarly inventive producer who’s more interested in moving forward than looking back.

Make it like an hour shorter, and it’s one of the best Prog House albums ever, period. •_•

Yes this thing shouldn’t be 2 hours long but that doesn’t take away from the fact that there are actually tons of really good tracks on this album and obviously the title track. Opus by Eric Prydz is a good Progressive House album that does have some pretty great material on here. I think his production on here is sort of distinct enough to have his own sound on it and there aren’t really any surprises to be had on this album until the title track which just so happens to ... read more
