Just imagine Turnstile with an 80s metal production job and overall aesthetic and you have this.
Needless to say it's dope as shit. I just wish some of the songs were a bit more fleshed out (especially Street Slayer. That thing I can barely even count as an interlude it's so inessential). They have so many awesome riffs and grooves that deserve to be expanded upon and I think they can truly pull it off and make something of a masterpiece with a future release. Low 80
I just discovered Mindforce this year, but I already know I really like this band. This is exactly the vibes I like. Granted, this release may feel a little dated and perhaps feel more like 80s thrash metal than it does hardcore punk (as a lot of hardcore bands tend do do), but there is no denying the absolute power of this release. The vicious vibes are felt in every gang chant, and the adrenaline filled arm swings are itching to be flown with each chug and each face melting riff.

New lords is a decent album, but it doesn't even come close to excalibur. That project felt like a hardcore album first and a thrash album second, and that worked really well, new lords goes for more thrash, less hardcore, there are people who are going to be into that, but I'm not one of them. It may seem like I'm dunking on this project a lot, but that's just because its predecessor was so good, it makes it hard not to see a lot of flaws with this one.
