Darwin Deez is creating music so arresting with their thoughtful, spectacle indie pop. They deliver an envelope of uplifting chord progressions and deadpan wit. This self-titled, debut album for Darwin Deez is an underrated classic to the dawn of a new decade and aesthetics. Listen to any indie pop record in this decade alone and you will find this album is still kicking it with the more original, entertaining sounds that'll fix a smile on all of our faces.
Somewhere behind this debut lies a group of young stars from NYC, trying to create its own constellation of simple, indie-pop tunes, framed with bright-painted hooks and a loose, amaterish mood.
