An ultra-rare instance of a remix project faring far more well in quality than the original outing (in this case, 1995's Post) and yeah, I already know I'll probably get slaughtered for stating something like this.

More along the lines of Debut, an album I've only recently come to realize as one of Bjork's most consistent works, Telegram is a product of its time and remains faithful in that aspect almost entirely - something I felt that Post lacked with its ambitions driving the product more ... read more

A reinterpretation of Bjork's second album that highlights the anxiety and sinister underbelly of Post. The album opens on my favorite Bjork quote: "Since we broke up/ I'm using lipstick again/ I suck my tongue/ In remembrance of you." This wonderfully, and sexually charged image begins Post on a more melancholic note than the banger 'Army of Me' (which, the remix bangs just as hard as the original don't worry.)
