The Green and Black has some nice riffs but overall sounds pretty standard. It would translate well live though. The title track is the same way, the riff the verses are structured around is nice but the track is a little too long. The Goal is Your Soul has some great groove to but is also too long for its own good. Give A Little is a fun thrashy tune with a good riff that feels more just right, Endless War is also really nice, great guitar work and doesn't feel too long either. Some of the ... read more

This album was boring generic thrash to me tbh, only a few decent moments

Best Of Overkill. Piercing and utterly devastating and guy-wrenching thrash.
Also one of their darker albums, 2010s Ironbound is fast-paced, melodic and full of unstoppable joint guitar shreds, and a great degree of drumming with precision, management and speed. Some actually strong guitar leads and provoking drum fills, vocally I have no major complaints with this one or Bobby Blitz vocal work.
