I have such a weird sense of vague nostalgia for this album. While I didn't listen to it at the time, it was the most recent Overkill album when I was first getting into the band, and I remember thinking how it was weird that a late-era album from a band as old as Overkill was getting so much love/ranked so highly in their discography. Now that I've finally gotten around to it (10+ years later), I see why.
A bit of a letdown compared to Ironbound, but still full of the typical Overkill energy. Honestly, there are really no rememberable songs on this one, but it's consistent and delivered with enormous pace and fun. The album only showed that the band is able to still kick ass when others slightly disappointed.
Another one of their better projects. It has probably some of Overkill's most consistent performances in instrumentation and vocals, with everything being consistently pretty good throughoutt. None of the songs here are career highlights mind, but it's overall just a consistently decent album, with more good songs than bad.
