Faust made (er, makes) pretty, catchy, slightly disturbing noise.

Faust IV comes off as more a series of not-always-related experiments, but there are more than enough intriguing moments to make it worthwhile.

The German iconoclasts' final album of the '70s remains as bracing as ever.

Krautrock isn't really my thing, but Faust albums are always a good time. The experimentation was definetely impressive for 1973. While not every song was my thing, and some of the ideas here weren't all that fantastic, it's still a very enjoyable 44 minute listen. Their debut, my favorite krautrock album, I like more than this, but still a great record
