my main grudge with this album that doesn’t make it a 100 is that there is a massive difference between the peak of the song’s energy and the beginning; plus some of the time signatures are a little weird, but that’s to be expected. Ha boner label
Ok soooo… awkward story, I think this would be so banger if only it didn’t have like the 8 minute intro… 🤩 which I know is crazy to say as a Swans fan but it just doesn’t do anything for me and I think it brings the whole thing down all together… ALSO OMG MACHINE GIRL REFERENCE?!?!? 🤯🤯🤯 CRAZY SAUCE!!!!!!

This is an awesome album album with awesome songs. My main problem with it is that it feels like it’s over before it even starts like after the absolutely incredible flipper cover Sacrifice you have three very short songs that just don’t give off an impact this album is very underrated for its influence but overall it’s just OK

seeing this have a higher average than the adjacent Bullhead and Houdini is sorta outrageous. those other two have so much more replay value and significance (both within the discography and for, like, all of american rock (AND THEN SOME, since much of Boris' style rests on what the melvs were putting down back in 1991))

Also, they can't release the album on Spotify or streaming services because "Lysol" is a trademarked name.

This is good and all, but I don't really think it's even close to their best. The entire record just doesn't stick out in the end.
