UNDER APPRECIATED BAND ALERT!
Fuck what the critics said this shit slapped hard.
This album is a lot better than I expected tbh. Blind Melon deliver a consistently great album, a lot of tracks stand out, not only in quality, but sonically as well which is great, especially St. Andrews Fall and its quite intense and epic feeling moments, the build-up on that track is pretty solid and the pay off is prb the best part of the whole album imo. Thank you @SexyJesus for the recommendation! One of those classic 90's bands certainly but I don't recall how much I've ever heard in passing.
"Galaxie/Hello, Goodbye" opens the record. Strong brass elements over the crooning as it develops. Just before a minute it truly blooms, nice pacing and riffing. The vocal cadence and melody is sharp, I also enjoy the structure it feels more progressive to begin. Great start, love the instrumentation.

So, this album is amazing. Blind Melon are a band who I haven’t much from, but from what I heard, which were “Galaxie / Hello, Goodbye” (which was a song that I thought was great at first, but now I think that it is amazing), “2 x 4” (which is a song that I think is great), and “No Rain (which I think is a good song), I really like them. This is their second album and I think that it is an amazing album.
