It's decent, I guess? This album is remembered because it's The Kinks' debut and it has one of the band's greatest songs, "You Really Got Me". Apart from that, it's quite forgettable. Not actually bad, but just silly. Maybe a bit heavier than what other artists were making, but still, it didn't have yet the intellect and essence that made them one of the greatest bands of all time. As much as I appreciate and admire the Kinks, this just sounds pretty unremarkable, especially for its time. Thankfully they definitely improved over time, as this is just rather forgettable.

Standout: Cadillac
Favs: So Mystifying, Got love if you want it, I Took my Baby Home, Revenge,
Least fav: I’m a lover not a fighter
Good Album. With a lot of forgettable songs but some truly amazing and under appreciated songs in there. Strong 7
A fun piece of rock history, but when stacked up against most other seminal albums of the 60s, it doesn't hold much weight.
