Eric Dolphy Has always been one of the most profilic jazz artists of his generation, and this being one of his earliest works as a bandleader only proves this. Impeccable compositions and instrumentation are incredibly forward thinking for 1960s, crossing the boundaries of hard bop with it's tense and dissonant atmosphere. Incredible record!
