"seriously this album nearly put me off post-rock too, but i highly reccommend you stick with the genre for a while. on the lack of drums, yeah, this album is quite empty and honestly i dislike it in the grand scheme of post rock. trust me, i think you might really like godspeed's later albums, (especially lysflath), or at least some other post rock bands and albums (you should check out: s/t by this will destroy you, the earth is not a cold dead place by explosions in the sky, young team by mogwai and aegaetis byrjun by sigur ros, to name a few).

"Like antennas to heaven is prolly the hardest track to digest on the first few listens, but honestly (this took me nearly 50 listens) its moved from my least favourite to arguably my favourite track on the whole project. it takes some time to grow on you, though."
