Listened to this again after watching the Kanye Netflix documentary. One of the most life changing albums of all time. ‘Through the Wire’ is still to this day a top 10 song ever to me, no wonder Pharrell Williams was so stunned, his reaction was just walking out the door speechless.

The best song of the 2010’s

I legit enjoyed 2/3rd’s of the first 9 tracks, so it was a decent start for the most part. Unfortunately, the quality takes an overall nosedive, with majority of the tracks just being really painfully mediocre or just flat-out bad, with the exception being ‘8am in Charlotte’.
