A little weak towards the end but overall about as good as expected.
fav. song: MUTT THAT BIH
Extremely fun album. Aggressive flows. hard hitting bars and stripped down beats, really all you need.
fav. song: Whe the Last Time
Still some ass here and there but significantly less than on Vol. 1.
fav. song: 285
This shit boring as hell. Noone sounds like they actually wanna be there. There is only one fun song on here but for some reason it's rated the lowest.
fav. song: PINK AND BLUE
It's very personal and emotional lyrically, but musically it's really nothing crazy, just some nice beats and laid back flows.
fav. song: Tear Gas
If you're looking for pure rapping, this is for you, but I find this album to be a bit boring.
fav. song: Fear Of God
Even for the grand finale of his career, his magnum opus that has been in the works for a decade J. Cole still finds a way to release a 6/10 album.
fav. song: Life Sentence
The first half of this album is really enjoyable. Great beats, nice flows, overall very fun. All of that just for Gunna to return to his usual style of bland and repetetive music in the second half.
fav. song: one of wun
I think artsy is the only way I can really describe this thing.
fav. song: Double Trio 2
A lot of the songs sound like he's actually making them boring on purpose. It gets a bit better towards the end but it's not enough to save this album.
fav. song: ATM
A very enjoyable listen front to back but the individual songs definitely lack in replay value.
fav. song: Chrome (Like Ooh)
Definitely the least creative body of work I've heard from her but still pretty fun.
fav. song: Countin' Up
Hearing so many different people rap together and it work is fun but beyond that it's just alright.
fav. song: Impossible
