Views tends to get backlash because of the countless overplayed hits on the album like One Dance and Hotline Bling. If you ask me, this simply proves the album is good due to its commercial appeal. Tracks like 9 and and the title track are almost if not perfect records and the album as a whole is so fun to listen to, despite its length.
I really enjoyed this collab project. As a big fan of both artists, it was a really good experience to see them come together and make this banger of a collab album.
I enjoyed mixtape quite a bit. It’s a step from Take Care and NWTS, but that can be expected for a mixtape. The album had a rough start, but picked up quickly and had some fantastic moments like Star67 and 6PM In New York.
The Come Up was a decent debut mixtape. I can’t say I am not a huge fan of Cole’s music, but I don’t plan on revisiting any tracks off of this project. It is a great starting point, but nothing flashy in the greater scheme of things.
My favorite Drake project. In my opinion, this album ks exactly what Drake should be putting out; genre bending hip-hop/R&B cuts that sooth the ears and make you want to bounce at the same time. For me, nothing was the same after listening to this album.
I liked JACKBOYS. It’s a short tracklist, but albums such as KSG prove that can be a good thing. JACKBOYS has it’s highs and lows, but I think low 70’s is a great range for this post-Astroworld Victory Lap.
For his 2nd mixtape and having been released after just 3 years of producer prior, this is very good. I am a big fan of songs like Skyfall, DBR: The Prayer, and Drugs You Should Try It. Great tracklist, great prequel to Rodeo.
I highly disliked this album on first listen, but after revisiting it later on I’ve come to realize how good this debut album is. I’m aware Drake himself didn’t like this album very much and thought it was missing some of the elements that Take Care had, but I have to disagree and say that this is a very good album.
Aubrey’s full emergence from the Degrassi era. This album is very well put together and did a lot to set him up for his later work. I didn’t care for this project on first listen, but it grew on me quickly and I have great appreciation for it now.
Each Kanye album from the Life of Pablo onward seems to be a little bit worse than the last. Jesus is King, in my opinion, truly marks Kanye Wests final album. From this point onward, “Ye” is here to remind us that being a worse rapper than Playboi Carti is possible.
I liked ye. I really enjoyed the last two tracks, Ghost Town and Violent Crimes. The album is certainly a drop from The Life of Pablo, but it proves that old Kanye wasn’t gone just yet.
I really enjoyed The Life of Pablo. As someone who really didn’t like Yeezus, TLOP really brought closure to me that Kanye wasn’t out of his prime just yet (even though that time would come soon enough). Songs like Saint Pablo and Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1 are exceptional and the storytelling and lyricism in each track is just as good. Love it.
Okay. Hear me out guys. When I first listened to Yeezus, it honestly made me angry. Like the extremely obnoxious beats to Kanye’s rapping and all, it just straight up pissed me off. The only two tracks on this album that I can truthfully say I enjoyed were Blood on the Leaves and Bound 2. Now don’t get me wrong. I LOVE Kanye’s music. I rated MBDTF 100 and gave the entire college trilogy really good ratings as well. However, I mark Yeezus as the point at which Kanye ... read more
This is one of the few albums in all of music that I will ever say is a 100/100. It is hands down Kanye’s best and it’s not even that close. From Runaway, to Devil in a New Dress, to Power, the exceptional tracks never stop. This album also came out when Kanye was as his lowest yet. With the controversy over Taylor Swift’s award still fresh in people’s minds. This was Kanye’s comeback. And not only did he come back, but he crushed any chance of his fall.
Holy… Kanye in the 2000’s was unstoppable. The final of the College Trilogy, it ends this era is Kanye’s career perfectly. My favorite track by Kanye, Champion, and other bangers like Stronger, Can’t Tell Me Nothing, I Wonder, Good Morning, Flashing Lights, and others really bring this project to where it is in my rating. It can’t be denied that Graduation has flaws, but those are pale in comparison to what makes this album so good.
I loved Late Registration. From the production to the storytelling to the skits that bring it all together. While not as good as its predecessor, The College Drop Out, or its successor, Graduation, it still stands out as being one of the greatest albums of its time.
I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed listening to The College Drop Out. It is an exceptional debut and set Kanye up for the next two albums in the College Trilogy, which are both almost as good as this one. This album really pioneers the genre of pop-rap and sets us up for the generational rapper that is Kanye West.
I was so excited for this album to drop. When it did, I was going berserk. It was the greatest disappointment of 2025 thus far. Half the songs have turned into memes (*cough cough*, Shyne, *cough cough*), and most of the album is just meh or bad. Jackboys 2 has only a couple a decent songs, those being Champain & Vacay, 2000 Extrusion, and Kick Out. This album honestly frightens me a bit over what the next stage of Travis’ career will be.
Wow. What a great album. The very dark and twisted sound the album produces sets the tone and makes this such a unique and special project in Travis’ catalogue. “MY EYES” is in my opinion one of Travis’ greatest tracks. Other tracks like I KNOW ?, MELTDOWN, HYAENA, and TELEKINESIS are also insanely good moments. You also can’t forget the hit track, FE!N, which took 2023 by storm. The album has its errors, but it is still a great project. I can’t call it quite ... read more
