As a 16 year old like him, It’s really inspiring to see Redveil, a young talent, work hard. This album is great. It’s a great mix of young artistry and great influence. Fuck Fantano for having a tantrum on Twitter, this is great music. Can’t wait to see what he has in stored in the future.
Logic gives a great finale to his music career. With fantastic production, bars & and great performances, Logic bows with grace and ease.
Childish Gambino plays it safe and comes through with one of the most disappointing albums of 2020. Especially realizing that this is supposedly Childish Gambino’s “last album”, I am disappointed that this is the last taste we will get of Gambino.
Moses Sumney’s magnum opus “Græ” shows himself and who he is, as an artist and as a human. With powerful ballads like “Bystanders” & “Me In 20 Years” to gut-wrenching performances with “Polly” & “Bless Me” and even with “bangers” like “Virile” & “Conveyor”, Moses completely destroys expectations with this release. Already being my AOTY for 2020, I can’t think of any ... read more
With catchy disco-inspired beats and powerful performances, Jessie Ware comes through with an infectious album that once put on, you can’t turn off. Give it chance if you haven’t listened, it’s great.
Phoebe Bridgers comes through with one of the most heartfelt and honest albums of the year, with many highlights (such as “Garden Song”, “Kyoto”, “Punisher”, “Halloween”, “I Know The End” and MANY MORE) Easily one of my favorite releases of 2020z
Coming through with a remix album to their 2019 release “1000 gecs”, 100 gecs use unique sounds and performances from fellow friends to continue defying expectations and also impressing others (including myself) as well.
Coming with a politically-charged release, Run The Jewels come through with their best album.
This album, man, was a journey. After FIVE YEARS of album silence, FKA Twigs’ second studio album, “MAGDALENE”, did not disappoint. From the innovative songwriting, the powerful production, to the emotional performances, FKA brought the best of her into every song. Every since the release of “cellophane”, I was so excited for this LP, and she delivered big time. Although I’ll need many more listens, this is most likely in my top 5 favorite albums of 2019.
As a Brockhampton fan, I am super excited with whatever they decide to release. With them hyping up the album as their “best work” & as a “summer album”, I became really excited. Now, with both singles released, I am beginning to worry if this next album is gonna be mediocre or not. Both of these singles have had many positives but many negatives too. These singles have been disappointing to me a little and I really hope they grow on me, hopefully their next single ... read more
Although it’s one of the weirdest lead singles to an album I’ve ever heard in a while, it’s still a reputable banger. I am still hoping for stronger performances from the group, especially Kevin for his “monotone” delivery.
