Can't stop listening to this! I loved Iceage's previous two LP's (which are my favourite Punk releases in the last 5 years) but this blew all my fucking expectations away.
Iceage totally came in left-field with this one. Unlike the first two albums, this one has a much stronger post-punk influence. The change in tempo doesn't take away from the music though, only adds to it, with the constant quick change in melodies.

Everything is fucking perfect with this album. Not only is it my favourite this year, but it is now one of my favourite LP's ever.
This album to me is the sonic representation of the human condition with all its natural complexities and above all its innate & gruelling struggle with trying to bring meaning to our species own existence. Swans really made a timeless album. This masterpiece is timeless. 10 years from now I will still be listening to this.
To Be Kind is a fucking CLASSIC.
I had to give this album a higher rating then I previously gave it. Time does that with these types of albums. 'good kid m.A.A.d. city' is much more than an album when you 'really' listen to it. It is essentially a story with two primary elements, an individual and an environment.
