holy fuck. nick cave and the bad seeds overwhelm me once more with Ghosteen. this thing moves so well, it's almost like entering another world or realm, similar to the album's cover. the synthesizers and cave's voice shouldn't work but amazingly they do. grief, death, sadness, hope, and love, it's all there and spoken immensely by him. Ghosteen might be one of the most ethereal pieces in music that I've ever heard.

call me a Kim Petras stan now because this collection of electrifying pop has got me hooked! i'd only heard Petras from her collabs with charli and now finally listening to a project from the singer i can understand why she has such an adoring fanbase. catchy as hell and i actually don't mind the instrumental tracks at all.

Ever since Thugger dropped his opus Jeffery, I've been more and more disappointed with everything he has later put out (with the exception of the Carnage Collab and Beautiful Thugger Girls). Listening to So Much Fun, I'm still struggling to believe he'll make something as monstrous and exciting as Jeffery, or Barter 6, or even the Slime Seasons for that matter. At nineteen tracks it's an up and down experience, each one bouncy and repetitive and familiar, and really lacking the uniqueness that ... read more
