once again, a very solid metal record. its just very plain, bread and butter, instrumentally and production wise and even songwriting wise. just solid metal. people who HATE this are just insane idk. it reminds me of hardwired. vanilla ass metal that works! it doesnt have st anger and death magnetics awful production. doesnt have load or reloads flood of lowwww lows. this is just ALRIGHT!
this album is cool, it has some riffs here and there. , but holy fck.. if st anger wasnt a thing i think this would be their WORST produced album ever. it sounds so bone dry and has so much bleed. especially the drum. not only are the beats and fills AWFUL and rudimentary, their produced terribly. kirk was also very weak on this record, his solos were very bland as well. still, end of the line and the instrumental track are good. theres some okay songs, and doesnt have as much filler as ... read more
a good solid record from a band proving they still got sum left in the tank
record with some very very classic tracks, yet is filled with mediocrity in between .
i really dont like the approach they had with their sound here, and esp shit like crunge and dyer maker is not the direction id want the band to go with but respect for trying! regardless still a banger record
im just so impressed by the fact that a lady with like a fcking tape recorder and just her voice can sing for an hour straight and have me completely captivated. this is what id imagine paradise to sound like
the sound really doesnt fit them at all, leave the synthwork to pink floyd pls
this record opens with one of the best prog rock songs ive ever heard but i cant feel but the album couldnt keep it up. still a solid record. nobodys fault and tea for one r still good songs.
the production was a big step up on here, this couldve been just as good as the rest, but idk what they were high on with the second half of this album. who woulda thought after a badass intro like immigrant song youd be hearing awful barnyard folk
