I am listening to off a like 20 hours awake to 4 hour sleep ratio so maybe that's why it is not hitting as hard as Love Is Not Enough but idk man. I certainly still enjoy this album but it feels more "consistent" then anything. The highs here are quite low for a Converge record.
79 is crazy this record is sooooooo good. It is also pretty accessible as far as screamo goes. liable to grow on me.
I absolutely love By the Time I Get to Phoenix but this records sound just does not do it for me. I think the opener track is absolutely incredible, and I think the last 3 tracks are also great. However, the five in between are a bit of a blur.
Sorry bro you can dislike this dude all you want but the music has always been quality.
This album contains some of his best production yet, with a lot of the rock influence coming back from ILDMLFY, along with some dubstep mixed in. I see the criticism of his rap performances being repetitive and I think that is fair. However I happen to enjoy aggressive fast rapping style he has been consistent with as of late. One flow but it is a damn good one. I honestly could see this album growing off ... read more
Probably one of the greatest songs to come out of flex
Homogenic is probably the album that cemented Bjork as a musical genius. This album is absolutely mind-blowing at points and does an amazing job telling a cohesive story. It is understandable to see why a lot of people feel this is her best album as it is incredibly consistent and highly conceptual. It also contains some of her absolute highest highs such such as Joga, Bachelorette, and the absolutely insane Pluto. Front to back every single track here plays an important role in the narrative ... read more
Opener track is one of the songs of the year bro. good stuff.

Don’t Tap the Glass feels like Tyler at his most playful and purposefully elusive. It is far less conceptual then a Chromakopia or Igor, but manages to hone in on being a very catchy and energetic West Coast Dance record, that of course has Tyler's unique spin. While it’s far from his most cohesive project, it’s an undeniably fun and creatively charged ride. The record thrives in its frequent whiplash ... read more

Let God Sort Em Out marks a powerful return for Clipse after more then a decade away, delivering a dark, focused, and deeply personal album. Stripping away the polished Neptunes-era sound, this record relies on minimal, haunting production that puts their sharp, ruthless lyricism front and center. It’s not about flash or nostalgia, as it’s more about reckoning with legacy, faith, and the consequences of past ... read more

Part 3 of my ANCO Discog Dive
This one just didn’t click for me. While I respect the minimalism and organic recording approach, Campfire Songs ends up feeling more like background noise than a meaningful listening experience. It’s far too pacifying and mellow to the point of becoming stagnant. I get that it’s aiming for a meditative, nature-bound mood, but it never builds tension, never surprises, and honestly, ... read more

Part 2 of my ANCO Discog Dive
This record was a tough listen for me. While I respect Anco's willingness to experiment, Danse Manatee feels like a step too far into self-indulgence. A project that mistakes abrasion for substance too often. The production is murky, the ideas are often half-baked, and the emotional throughline that made their debut so compelling is pretty much absent. It feels like they were trying to push ... read more

Part 1 of my ANCO Discog Dive
This is a wild, messy, and deeply personal debut that leans into chaos without ever fully spiraling out. Avey Tare and Panda Bear team up and throw themselves into sound with total abandon here by mixing both childhood wonder with emotional violence, and dreamy whisps with full-on noise. It's not always cohesive, and definitely bloated in some spots, but there’s a clarity of intention buried ... read more
This album means such an unbelievable amount to me, I could talk about it for hours. SO I WILL.

There are albums that hit you, and there are albums that stay with you forever. Hospice is the latter for me. I don’t say that lightly. as this record means everything to me. It’s one of my all-time favorite albums and the kind of listening experience that rewires something inside you.
I connect with this album in a deeply ... read more
