The Fishmans discography is an interesting one to me. You have their early stuff which I think is mostly forgettable (especially Chappie Don’t Cry, or I wish I could), decently enjoyable, or is something as entrancing, transcendental and world-bending as LONG SEASON.

The perfect simplistic, background vibe to just chill out to. Slap this album on at any get-together or hang-out and it’ll fit perfectly
It’s just so consistent all the way through.
I was initially turned off by Freddie Gibbs’ rap style. But, I’ve since grown heavily to it and I enjoy his gruff and thug delivery; it adds so much personality and rhythm to mingle with Madlib’s fantastic production and sample/beat work.
Might just be the most chaotic thing I’ve heard so far
