I remember listening to this on Halloween a couple of years ago and I got so bored I started skipping songs and then I realized like oh shoot I can’t skip songs I’m listening to an album
I really like that he made the songs longer and finally got some different flows and more structure but I feel like a majority of the songs just sound a little to similar with that jazz feel don’t get me wrong there great but too similar to each other but although I still liked his first project a little better, this album definitely shows him growing more as an artist and trying more things which I respect and I also love his humor which gives his music more personality than others
I know a little bit of French but oh my goodness this instrumental is beautiful
when logic wasn't trying to make a radio hit on this LP, he raps over some classic hip hop beats with so much hunger and I loved it
This album perfectly encompasses the "Old money" feel which I personally love and the alchemist is really the only producer who could've done this album.
Logic truly being in his element and rapping over some classic hip hop beats with some demo tapes and reference tracks
