[87.90] So ya here is where I would say "Logic" begins, with the tape before this being a little all over the place. Crazy amount of samples like all of these, but if one can look past him taking a liked song of their's and mixing it, this is a really good example of a solid project from the guy.

favs - the whole mixtape except for Beggin, Champagne Thoughts (Interlude), Are You Ready, Highs & Lows, Stewie Griffin, and Juice

86 - One
87 - Shine On
87 - 30,000

This is the first GOOD Logic project. Maybe someday I'll get to YBI, but other RattPack members would most likely not fuck with that review.

I think of the Young Sinatra mixtapes, this one has the best sampling. Growing Pains II, Let Me Go, Are You Ready, Beggin' and One all have incredibly integrated samples with Logic spitting bars like he had never done before (Trust me, he REALLY never did before this).

There's a lot of emotional versatility in this album, but I don't think it's executed ... read more

Great starting project for the ''Young Sinatra'' quadrilogy

Definitely better than his previous ''Young, Broke & Infamous'' mixtape by and being way more cohesive and not all over the place. The production is much better and interesting with the BoomBap style production being here fucking addictive asf, the instrumental choices are great to the hear here. Logic also shows that in terms of lyricism, he also has evolved even though there's a small amount of some corny lyrics present still, ... read more

The first in the series, none of the tracks on here are not that bad, it's just way too long and Logic does show a lot of potential through this project he just never proves himself with the potential he had at the time

Score - 4.5/10

Fav Tracks - Growing Pains II and probably a few other tracks I don't remember
Least Fav - everything else

edit: was a bit harsh ngl 45-55
