An eclectic and ultimately very positive assortment of songs, taken from before Logic started to experiment more with modern trends such as the ill-advised trap phase, Young Sinatra is a heartfelt collection and the most consistently solid the young rapper has ever been.

[87.90] So ya here is where I would say "Logic" begins, with the tape before this being a little all over the place. Crazy amount of samples like all of these, but if one can look past him taking a liked song of their's and mixing it, this is a really good example of a solid project from the guy.

I legit completely forgot to ever rewrite my reviews for these tapes, so lets get back on that rq.
“YS1” is an improvement on all fronts compared to “YB&I”. Since he moved into Big Lenbos basement at the time (where the under pressure cover art takes place, fun fact), he has a concrete place to fully work on his production, and now with the help of 6ix, he has even better sense of quality control, even if the tape is double the length of its predecessor track wise. ... read more
"Young Sinatra" is solid and another improvement from Logic.
Production takes another step up from previously and its pretty good, most of the sampling here is done great on tracks such as "One", "30,000", "Beggin'", "Growing Pains II", "Addiction", "Are You Ready", "Juice" and Logics slides on them, Logic generally does great on the record, there is a more consistent quality of tracks in here than there was ... read more
