KPN makes something genuinely unique instead of making generic black metal by expanding upon the experimentation in their previous album. A lot of the musical decisions on this album are overly experimental and confusing, resulting in either the worst thing you have ever heard or something ,that in spite of all music norms, is catchy and great.
Hes doing the same flow still after a full 7 albums. Creativity has gone completely down the drain because he spends more time beefing with 14yr olds on social media than actually making music. Random ass guitar solo over an All of the Lights sample with Ishowspeed barking vocals/10.
Final boss of not being able to write a song for shit award, somehow beating Primus. Nothing memorable, the same tired production as almost every other modern death metal album and vocals that exist purely just because its "technical". There is literally no value to any of the music aside from the gimmick of fucking your ears with the most pointlessly fast vocals.
Similar to their last LP although the vocals have lost the texture that made the previous perfect. Guitar tone is still on point and the riffs are still catchy as all hell
A much more aggressive and less repetitive rendition of dopesmoker by sleep. the drumming is a lot more varied and its nicer not having to listen to the exact same riff for 40 whole minutes before it changes. the main downfall? its split into 3 different sections, after each section is an "interlude" sometimes stretching up to 10 minutes long without any of the doom metal you wanted to listen to
