This album is a hidden gem - with quite complex drum beats and roaring bass and synths. I am amazed how this is not much bigger as practically the only big complaint I have is that it feels too tame and maybe a bit generic at times.
Even though this record is mostly a mess, there are some moments where it really shines.
Compared to their 2001 "Since I Left You", "We Will Always Love You" is mostly too tame, especially in the middle of the album. Conversely, there are many great psychedelic songs mainly near the start and end of the album, such as "The Divine Chord", "We Will Always Love You" and "Oh The Sunn!"
Even though, there is quite a lot of filler, it must be acknowledged that there are beautiful works of art here too, just as good as their earlier works.
It seems like she forgot to do anything interesting in the middle of the record, with boring song after boring song. Definitely a step down from "WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?"
Even though this is nothing compared to the likes of Geogaddi and Music Has The Right To Children, it still creates a haunting, ambient landscape which completely entrances the listener
Drop 7 somehow does better on the best songs and variation compared to Drop 6 but has worse songs
The double Flashing Lights sample is an interesting touch to an interesting album.
Why is nobody talking about the insane instrumentation on "Me and the Devil" and "New York Is Killing Me"
Unfortunately, it seems like the spark which Blank Banshee had for his Blank Banshee 0 was not present in this release
Even though there is a slightly more sophisticated sound than their previous records, "A Bath Full of Ecstasy" still follows the same recycled ideas as them
Even though is definitely better than their last two projects, most of the album is still quite generic
In "Minecraft - Volume Alpha", C418 truly made a beautiful soundtrack for perhaps the most important game of all time and with that, gave endless nostalgia to hundreds of millions of people.
The mostly ambient and sometimes joyful electronic sound of this makes it the perfect soundtrack for such a game, with endless possibilities and fun from playing with friends. C418 did not just do it well, but made some of the best music in these genres with innovative sounds and melodies.

They really rushed this one
Still, there are a couple of highlights and DISC 2 totally saves this from being total slop
Even though a some of the album is quite repetitive in ideas, they really show their mastery of sampling and are able to join together thousands of samples into 1 hour of amazement.
This album is unique and well produced, especially the bass. The largest problem with it is its simplicity in most places as the album could definitely use more texture.
