quad comin in as always with some of the most beautifully lush and vibrant production. he's gotten so great at taking tons of different layers and arranging them all into this neat little package that just sounds so GOOD. i could not be more stoked for vanisher to come out.

everybody that rates a foreign album says this, but i don't care. listening to an album in a language you don't understand is so dope, because you get to really just hyper-focus on the music and see what it does for you. and this album's music is really really good.
except i did look at translations of all the songs' lyrics and holy crap this guy self-deprecates to heck. every single song has incredibly sad lyrics that could not be guessed if you just listened to the music ... read more
there's nothing more to be said than that it's simply entrancing
i've really liked this album for quite a bit now, but one of my weaknesses with music is that i really love to put it in a box and contextualize it to the time i listened to it. for example, some songs i can only listen to during fall because i heard them then and that's when they hit. sadly the same thing happened with vespertine by björk, an absolute masterpiece of an album. i listened to the first half of this album on a night bike ride in the middle of winter. the snow was ... read more

i’m an 18 yr old dude who loves everything music. had quite the life changing experience as a mere tween when my friend told me i only listened to imagine dragons and proceeded to show me sampha. then i went whoa and bought airpods and my life changed forever. after like 3 years of listening to lots of music i can safely say wow thank you friend now i know what i’ve been missing. mm ok bye
