Always have to appreciate when Nas puts out a decent album, it's been a while.

lol my rating for this was garbage.

I think might be the only album with so many great songs with not a 90+ score only because of the length. A classic, no doubt, but damn it's too long.

Yellow Submarine probably dropped this 8 points alone.

how does one really rate an album like this, where I have no knowledge of the genre?

I rated it anyway. This was a fun listen.

Went in feeling it but left feeling like I kinda wasted my time. Pick you favorite track or two and add it to a playlist, full album isn't necessary.

if this comes out it's gonna be disappointing, right? No way it lives up to the decade+ of speculation.

Edit: would have been better a decade ago, but still enjoyable.

I enjoyed this album 10x more then expected.
