This is gonna be a longgggg one.... Cole's au revoir to hip hop is definitely one to remember.
For as long as I can remember J. Cole has been a huge part of the rap scene. Making memorable tracks, bringing a cadence that fits the genre like a glove. The voice, the flows, the delivery, etc. He brought the package that gave hip hop heads a lot to look forward to and even commend him for (can't say much of the same for critics).
Cole has always made it his mission to keep the spirit of ... read more
I thank Julie Andrews everyday for breathing life into this soundtrack and starring in one of my favorite movies of all time.
An LGBT Icon. That guitar work is some of the cleanest I've ever heard. The voice of an angel!
Hate it or love it.. Harry's definitely taking his artistry serious. The best to come out of 1D.
Harry Styles is finally back with his long awaited lead single to the new album. I personally believe this is a much needed switch in sound for him as the pop era always felt pretty bland. This direction in house seems to be working in his favor so far, I think it's a good example of the positives he can bring to the genre. Harry's voice fits pretty well over the electronic/dance ... read more
I will admit, this is pieced together super well. The events are written cohesive and the transition from end to beginning is perfectly structured without feeling wonky. Not to mention how he managed to keep the same rhyme scheme going without making it feel stale at any point. I mean this does complete justice to Nas's Rewind track. The entire single is delivered smooth. Definitely gonna be a highlight on this album. Im sure I'll come back to give it a higher score but as of right ... read more
Pretty vanilla for me personally. Not bad by any means but a pretty commercial and cheesy take from Bruno. It’s for sure a simplistic catchy jingle that’ll probably stick around for a while but it just lacks flavor. This will 100% make its way into mall radios, school events, kids movies, etc. Not a big fan of the super commercial direction especially with the (do do do) ad libbing over the instrumental. I mean if anyone has the potential to make a hit out of the minimum it’s ... read more
TALK YO SH*T DOECHII! Solid response to all that pressure the haters like to apply. While she may be having a shaky career start, there's still a lot of strong potential in her as seen on the Alligator Bites mixtape.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REPLAY VALUE?
Redundancy is in abundance here. Undercooked trap beats with a disturbing amount of hi hats that completely drag this album down from any chance it had at redemption. Savage needs to take a moment to re-evaluate what makes him interesting as a rapper because it's clear he has no form of interest in what he's offering on this project. A lot of his performances feel rinse and repeat while also holding no emotion, The production value is flat lining ... read more
Finally back on this site after a lengthy hiatus. Full Review Tomorrow.
Rest in Peace Dave Jolicoeur (Trugoy the Dove). This is truly a great way to pay homage to a late and great legend. Please enjoy this life while you guys have it, our time on this world is limited and we can't afford to waste a minute. Everyone is gifted in their own ways, you are truly capable of anything if you work hard enough. Make the best out of life.

April is bringing absolute heat with these singles. Her electronic production skills are insane, I'm enjoying the dance pop direction. MV choreography is crazy🔥.
Full review soon.
Been a while since I've listened to Wednesday. I had never gotten into Rat Saw God, but I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed this much more. Very catchy tracks with gravitating guitar performances.

It may not be great but it is 1000% catchy. T-Pain seemed like he had a good time making this.
When it hits it HITS. Everything else is pretty boring. SDP as an interlude goes harder than half the album.
Sad day for Australia😪
Kevin Parker aka Tame Impala has made his grand return with a pretty underwhelming, not so grand LP. The direction he takes within the House genre doesn't serve him well considering how hollow a lot of the tracks feel. So many moments that feel undercooked in production. Redundancy within the drums, lack of track progression, almost every song is structured pretty loosely. This is a weak representation of Kevin's creativity, some moments feeling like a less ... read more
This Lola Young LP definitely has its iffs. A lot of half baked ideas in writing but she has personality and that's something. Pretty decent but not so impressive performances between the rock/pop efforts, but unlike most.. I did have fun with F**K EVERYONE. I appreciated the wild style carefree energy from her, however the atmosphere on the rest of this LP has more of a moody tone that lacks the writing and production quality to keep things interesting in my opinion. I think she has the ... read more
I'm such a nerd for SU.. I miss these days😪
My childhood nostalgia wants to say yes, but my critical mindset says no. I can't hate on such a huge piece of my past.
