seen the light it’s a 100 now: ignore my criticism
While I definitely appreciated everything Kendrick Lamar stood for culturally, the ever-iconic Compton MC was never a personal favorite. For a plethora of reasons, I could go on and on as to why the nameplate "Kendrick Lamar" never struck me as a musical proposition that was particularly unique. Still, with time, he seems to have found his own sound, far away from the days of good kid m.a.a.d city and Section .80, records I ... read more
"Gunshots raged out like a bell
I grabbed my 9, all I heard were shells
Falling on the concrete real fast
Jumped in my car, slammed on the gas
Bumper to bumper, the avenue's packed
I'm trying to get away before the jackers jack
Police on the scene, you know what I mean?"

You will never be a functioning member of society. You have no empathy, you have no tact, and you have no sense. You are a neckbeard living in his mother's basement.
All the “red-pills” you get are two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back people mock you. Your parents are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “friends” laugh at your ghoulish appearance behind closed doors.
Women are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution have allowed women to sniff ... read more
Most of humanity's screwed in the head so there are nearly zero "good" countries out there, at least from my perspective. most developed countries have massive caveats attached to them. Well, given the fact that there are barely any redeemable ones, a few of them tend to stand out in particular although they're nothing to write home about themselves.
It's the same logic we use with political parties, it's likely that they don't come close to reflecting all your personal wishes and ... read more
What if you put Death Grips, Billie Eilish, Machine Girl, Charli XCX, JPEGMAFIA, and Kanye West in one room: a theory
DG and Machine Girl are having a jolly good conversation with each other, while Kanye and Charli are also talking to each other on the other side of the room. Peggy exclaims that DG and Kanye are some of his biggest inspirations, but Ride and Zach bring up "drake era". Kanye overhears them talking about "drake era", and given his newfound sense of ... read more

Glitch Princess is a hazy, glitchy journey of self-discovery. Also haha funny bug Hatsune Miku alien, shoutout tunnelbear VPN because it helped me listen to this a few hours before it officially came out in my place (this is not a paid placement i earn nothing). Speaking of VPNs, this album reminds me of digital paranoia in a way.

"Why is this your favorite song of all time?"
I really have no idea!
This song took about 30 odd listens to grow on me. Its dense, industrial and mechanical sound combined with Abel's ever so melodic crooning sounds like an absolute mishmash of ideas, but for some reason, it sticks. If any song on Kiss Land nails the core concept of being lost in a city of lights you're unfamiliar with, it's Belong To The World.
The sound design on Belong To The World is out of this fucking world, ... read more

Do you like Gunna? Cause I've been a big Gunna fan ever since the release of his 2016 mixtape, Drip Season 1. Before that, I really didn't understand any of his work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on WUNNA where Gunna’s presence became more apparent. I think WUNNA was his undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic round of meditation on ... read more

and here's mine
Abel Tesfaye shows us why he's the biggest artist on planet earth for the fourth time in a row. And he hasn't put out anything that I didn't find remotely compelling at the very least. It's been eleven-odd years at this point, and he's been on a steady vertical ascent since 2018.
First things first, but I really need to apologize for being irritating as fuck on the Dawn FM ... read more
The main members of the Beatles were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. United Artists has released a full soundtrack album for the North American market, combining Beatles songs with Martins' soundtrack; elsewhere, the band's third studio album, A Hard Days Night, included songs from the film on the first side and other new recordings on the second side. As their popularity grew due to the fanatic madness dubbed "The Beatlemania", the group was nicknamed ... read more

I don't get how being in the center of an incident where you're accused of being the perpetrator of a crime or so makes you a hero, or why it gains you the support of people who never really cared for you prior to the said incident. It goes for a case that startled the American political climate over the course of November, and it seems synonymous with some of the defensive arguments I get from "fans" of Tory Lanez.
In Tory's case, you see the ... read more
Here's another review I was working on yesterday, for the first Donda listening party, but it would be out of touch for me to post it right now, lol. It's half-finished, just like the album itself
Honestly speaking, something that's become apparent over the months post-Donda's otherworldly rollout method, is that the initial templates to the album might've suggested something even bigger.
There are many forgotten Kanye records that preceded Donda. This includes Spirits Over The Horizon, God's ... read more

Playboi Carti by Playboi Carti is the greatest mixtape to have ever have it's lyrics touch paper and it's ideas touch an audio workstation. From the spellbinding production to sheer miraculous poetry that Carti showcases on here, it is nothing but a masterpiece and a half.
But what exactly in the constitution of this mixtape makes it ever so legendary? Here's a humble attempt as to why.

Welcome to our second annual step-by-step LOONA music video analysis.
First, we're greeted by a transitional element in the form of a morphing LOONA logo, which has undertones of a crescent-like shape. Then we proceed to a grim black screen, reminiscent of Kanye West's Donda.
In the background, we hear subtle elements of nature, the chirping of birds, rough wind noise, and general serenity. The camera slowly progresses towards a lonely woman lying on a dated couch that is situated in a ... read more
