More than just guitar
Always debated with “Twin Fantasy” for the title of Car Seat Headrest's best album, “Teens of Denial” is yet another incredible indie and art rock work from these talented artists. This time with a more expansive sound, more vocals, and more diverse instruments that have rarely appeared in their discography before. I believe this gives it a stronger personality and an almost innovative feel, contributing to the impressive and unique album it ... read more
That mixtape
Death Grips' mixtape proves to be an insane work, but one that holds its own in its chaotic structure, surprising with its consistency even within an experimental medium. The vocals are full of emotion, and the instrumentals deliver a rich diversity while never abandoning the strong personality that the album has as a whole. It's the kind of work that impresses you with how well-made it is, considering that much of it could have displeased me, but it did. An excellent ... read more

This makes me think that his work works better with time; it's like a feeling that grows inside you and becomes stronger each time you listen to his music.

Thinking about it still
This album from an old JPEGMAFIA project before he adopted this more famous name was interesting, although a little overwhelming for me. Although I really liked the ambiance and the instrumentals that focused more on the smallest details, many aspects of the production itself bothered me. I understand that the moans or strange vocals may be intentional and have meaning within the work, but they were simply irritating and made it impossible for me to appreciate any ... read more
