By FAR one of the most interesting listens i've had in a while, probably cause i'm not well versed with any music that sounds like this. Anyways, every song makes sense within the context of the album. Saying Caroline's vocal styling carried this album is literally an understatement. I still need a little more time with that final section, but as of now, this album could end up being a perfect 100 for me!
Favourite tracks: Sunset, Pretty In Possible, Welcome To My Island

Had only ever heard Great Gig in the Sky before going into this project. The sound design, instrumentation, track listing, flow... Everything is literally perfect.
Favourite tracks: Great Gig in the Sky, Breathe(In The Air)
Least favourite tracks: None
Honestly, i never expected her to live up to her debut. Olivia killed it, exploring more sounds while still sounding extremely familiar. Love her vocal choices and performance as a whole!
Favourite tracks: lacy, ballad of a homeschooled girl, logical
Least favourite tracks: bad idea right?, teenage dream
One of the first albums i ever fully listened to. Eerily relatable as well, which sucks cause it made me love this album even more.
Favourite tracks: 1 step forward, 3 steps back, jealousy jealousy, favourite crime
Least favourite tracks: hope ur ok
Disco music is safe in her hands!
Favourite tracks: Spotlight, Save a Kiss, Mirage(Don’t stop)
Least favourite tracks: The Kill, Adore You
This album’s single-handedly convinced me to get more into indie rock/alternative rock sounds. Loved her voice and her songwriting on most of the tracks, especially robbed, and her almost “spoken word”-esque melody on it is what it is!
Favourite tracks: It is what it is, Robbed, Never Need Me
Least favourite tracks: All i ever asked
This was a really good listen. All the features felt natural and added significantly to the songs, which is surprising considering imo charli has a history of selecting some features that could bring a song down and make you feel like they’d sound better solo. Loved how almost every track was a completely different spin on the original, as expected!
Favourite tracks: 365, girl, so confusing, talk talk, b2b
Least favourite tracks: sympathy is a knife, von dutch, apple
Favourite tracks: After Midnight, Picture You, Kaleidoscope
Least favourite tracks: Pink Pony Club, California, Guilty Pleasure
I really love her witty humour throughout the album! This paired with her amazing voice and almost basic production neutralise each other. Generally i loved her sound here.
Favourite tracks: Don't Smile, Dumb & Poetic, Taste
Least favourite tracks: Slim Pickins, Coincidence
You can't dislike this album. Like AT all....
Favourite tracks: ENERGY, AHAP, HEATED
Least favourite tracks: CHURCH GIRL, THIQUE (Emphasis on least favourite cause i'm STILL gonna listen through each and every one of these!)
This is unfortunately Beyoncé's most untimely work ever. It sounds so dated, and even then, the songs still sound irrelevant to their time...There are a few good songs though.
Favourite songs: Diva, Sweet Dreams, If I Were a Boy, Disappear
Least favourite songs: Anything else
Saying this album is great is an understatement. It's rare that an artist is able to shift their sonic landscape completely, while still sounding familiar at the same time. Self-titled will go down as one of her landmark albums and everyone SHOULD listen to it.
Favourite tracks: Rocket, Superpower, Blue, Haunted
Least favourite tracks: What are you even asking me rn?
You can't help but move throughout the album. Anoda Banga from start to finish! (almost...) This is his most experimental and best work yet imo (apart from his Ravage EP). The album dies off towards the end though, which sucks.
Favourite tracks: MARCH AM, AZAMAN, OZEBA
Least favourite tracks: NOW I KNOW, VILLAIN
Beyoncé is yet to create a body of work that doesn't leave you wanting to understand her artistic perspective. COWBOY CARTER is an amazing display of country music, coming from someone who barely ever listens to the genre. She manages to incorporate so many sounds into the album, making it an incredible display of art and vocal prowess. Although the album may feel a little bloated, it still ends up being a culmination of genre-defying songs and beautiful sounds. Definitely an album ... read more
A good debut album on Ariana's part.
